The International

(388 yard - Par 4 ) - Tough opening hole as it's normally against the wind and with OB left, it does intimidate.

The Grove

(341 yard - Par 4) - A straight forward drive and pitch hole. A long iron or fairway metal might be best off the tee. Green much longer than it looks. Try to keep your tee shot in right of fairway. OB left.

Bonus

(494 yard - Par 5) - Many players look for a birdie here. Can play quite short as it is down hill all the way. A very tricky green. Best angle to the green is from the left.

Wood Bine

(170 yard - Par 3) - A new back tee has increased length and difficulty, considering unpredictable, swirling winds. Looks easy! Front greenside bunkers cannot be seen from back tees.
The Challenge

(471 yard - Par 5) - A great risk reward hole. Tight, dog leg to the right. A very long green. Approach shot to the pin is longer than it looks as there is a subtle elevation into the green.
Double Trouble

(336 yard - Par 4) - Easy if you can hit your drive down a pipe! The elevated green makes for some very deceiving pin placements. A new back tee has dramatically increased difficulty of this hole.
Washboard

(352 yard - Par 4) - A real birdie chance here, but don't miss the fairway or green to the left. The washboard effect on this fairway makes for some very interesting lies.
Shorty

(150 yard - Par 3) - Straight forward par 3. Huge green. Crosswinds are troublesome with trouble left. Subtle elevation.........take the extra club back to the tee with you.
Old Ironsides

(378 yard - Par 4) - Uphill and usually against the wind. Drive all important here. Three putts will be frequent! OB (USA) left. Green slopes severely from back to front. Nine shares its green with 18.
Deception

(395 yard - Par 4) - Very difficult second shot if a southerly wind is blowing. Destruction to the left, or long, of the green!

Recovery

(342 yard - Par 4) - A "pleasant" little drive and pitch hole. Deceiving approach shot with uphill lies common. Keep approach under the hole.

Cardiac Hill

(510 yard - Par 5) - A monster and will usually need three full shots if against the wind. Only the longest hitters will get near it in two.

Windy Knoll

(202 yard - Par 3) - A difficult, tightly trapped hole. Elevated green and, as its name implies, the wind will factor in. A lot of bogeys, or worse, here!
The Punch Bowl

(530 yard - Par 5) - A beautiful hole to look at. Easy 5 but a very difficult second shot if looking for a birdie. Both water short and out of bounds left threaten. Typical risk reward hole. Many would argue this to be AVCC's signature hole.

Devil's Hole

(180 yard - Par 3) - A fine par 3 over water. A well struck long iron is often required from the back tee. New back tees have increased the beauty (and difficulty) of this hole.
Eternity

(402 yard - Par 4) - Plays much longer than its yardage. Green slopes very sharply from the back. Uphill all the way and usually against a prevailing west wind. Front pin placements are treacherous.
Reprieve

(149 yard - Par 3) - No reprieve here. Short par 3, but unwise to assume a green in regulation or an easy par, especially with swirling winds. Arguably AVCC's most underrated hole.
Lookout

(514 yard - Par 5) - What a view from the tee! Looks easy, but trouble lingers for every poorly hit shot, right or left. Eighteen shares its green with 9.
